If you need help
Homeless In Teignbridge Support (HITS) food bank provides support for people in need throughout Teignbridge. Our normal opening times are Mon-Fri, 10-4 although we do offer emergency cover at all times. We need a referral from an agency such as the Citizens Advice Bureau or Job Centre, who have assessed your need. The referrer must phone us on 01626 906371.
Homeless in Teignbridge Support works with homeless people and those in crisis and need in our community, throughout Teignbridge and in the more rural areas. People that we have helped include those who are homeless, victims of domestic violence, ex-service personnel, the elderly, families in poverty, disabled people, ex-offenders and many others.

We are Teignbridge Homeless Action Today (THAT Food Bank), a non-profit organisation based in Buckland which is actively working to alleviate poverty in our community.
We aim to assist those struggling financially and the homeless by supplying them with essential items such as food, toiletries. We also provide home start packs, fuel key top ups and offer information and a place to chat.
As well as helping members of the community with issues that need immediate attention, we also strive to ensure that those using our services have fewer problems in the future by working together to address the underlying issues that are causing the problem and taking steps to minimise them.

To help people who find in these difficult times, that their income is reduced and they are having to choose between paying bills and buying food
Free food, basics, household and personal items
You don’t have to be referred by anyone, Just come along if you need support and we will try to help.
